My cat, S, is always waiting eagerly for her meals. She knows the exact time I come home from work and starts to meow loudly. Once she sees me approaching, she dashes towards me with a speed that surprises even myself. Her small body quivers with excitement as she rubs against my legs, purring loudly.
When it comes to feeding time, S becomes even more focused. She knows exactly how much food I give her and the exact amount of time it takes for her to finish it. If there's any delay or interruption during this process, she meows impatiently, making sure I understand that she needs to eat as soon as possible.
But what surprises me is when S starts barking at times instead of meowing. It sounds so strange hearing a cat bark! I wonder if it's an inherited trait from her parents or maybe something unique about her. Nonetheless, it adds a different dimension to her personality and behavior that makes her even more interesting.
And then there are times when S gets playful during mealtime. She'll start pawing at the food bowl as if she wants to play hide-and-seek with the kibble. Her playful side never ceases to amaze me, making our bond even stronger and deeper.
